San Diego County Breweries

I recently moved into the area and discovered that the county has over 150 active breweries! My quest is to visit and sample all of them. (Brewery must have a tasting room and brew on site.) Here are my visits so far.

    My favorites so far:
    1) Best presentation - Amazing architecture - Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido)
    2) Best selection - Wide assortment of dark/strong ales - Port Brewing / The Lost Abbey (San Marcos)
    3) Best theme - Based on that beer was safer than water during the plague - Black Plague Brewing (Oceanside)
    4) Most original styles - They have a stout/merlot hybrid and 12.5% oatmeal stout! - Reckless Brewing (Miramar)
    5) Most convenient - Centrally located with full menu and 750 capacity - Ballast Point (Miramar)

Thanks to West Coaster for the updated resource!
